About Us
Singara Seemai – Baduga Development Organization is a community development platform created with the vision of uniting every Hatti and supporting every family in the Nilgiris.
Our mission is to work for the educational, social, cultural, economic, agricultural, environmental, and livelihood development of the Baduga community. Singara Seemai is built on the values of unity, transparency, service, culture, and sustainable development.
We believe that every Hatti should have a voice, every family should have an opportunity, and every young person should have a future within the Nilgiris.
Our work focuses on education support, school development, youth skill training, women empowerment, job assistance, alternative agriculture, farmer market linkage, healthcare awareness, environmental protection, culture preservation, and community-based development programs.
“Voice of Every Hatti, Vision for Every Family.”
To build a united, progressive, self-reliant, and sustainable Baduga community where every family has access to education, livelihood, dignity, and development opportunities.
To connect Hatties, families, youth, women, farmers, professionals, and well-wishers under one development platform and create practical solutions for the long-term growth of the Nilgiris community.
Singara Seemai follows a community-based, transparent, and inclusive governance model. We believe that community development should not be controlled by a single individual or small group. It should be guided by collective wisdom, equal participation, and accountable decision-making.
Each Hatti will be encouraged to nominate active and responsible community representatives, including senior members, youth, women, farmers, teachers, professionals, and social workers.
These representatives will identify local needs, collect community feedback, coordinate programs, and bring Hatti-level issues to the organization.
Representatives from different Hatties will be grouped under Seemai-level coordination teams. These teams will help plan development activities, resolve common issues, and coordinate programs across nearby Hatties.
A central committee will guide major initiatives, partnerships, fundraising, CSR projects, training programs, agriculture projects, education support, healthcare activities, and policy-level community development plans.
The committee will work with transparency, documentation, periodic review, and collective decision-making.
Singara Seemai gives importance to the experience of senior members, the energy of youth, and the leadership role of women. Community development will be meaningful only when all sections of society participate equally.
Experts from education, agriculture, healthcare, law, technology, business, environment, tourism, and public administration may be included as advisors to guide specific projects.
For effective implementation, separate working groups may be formed for:
All major decisions, activities, partnerships, and fund utilization should be properly documented and shared with the community whenever applicable. The organization will promote responsible leadership and avoid personal, political, or profit-based control.
Singara Seemai is a community development initiative. It aims to work beyond politics, personal differences, and group divisions. The focus is unity, development, service, and long-term community welfare.
Governance Principle:
“No single voice should control the community; every Hatti should be heard, and every family should benefit.”
